So, this past weekend for Christmas I got Friday and Monday off, which was very nice. So…re-cap:

• Thursday night, David took me to see A Christmas Carol downtown…it was awesome!!! I’ve never seen just a play before. I’ve seen musical’s, but never a Play. So it was great to do something new, and fun to get dressed up and be surprised once we got down there.
• Friday was our church’s “Christmas eve eve service” or as my friend Lauren recently called it…Adam’s day(adam came before eve)…so clever. But yeah, we did that… then went out to eat with friends afterward.
• Saturday, I went over to my parents house and we watched Holiday Inn and a Fred and Ginger movie then my Aunt and Uncle’s family came over for home-cooked Christmas eve dinner…the turkey, dressing, sides and desserts…delicious.
• Sunday…Christmas McMullen style…taking turns and opening gifts one at a time. It was a great Christmas…and my dad did this cool thing with a scavenger hunt and poem thing for my mom and I. Impressive. And of course we watched white Christmas and Christmas Vacation…2 movie traditions we do each Christmas.

All in All, great long weekend. And I get tomorrow off as well….so it’s been a short 3 day week of work!!
