Ever since it turned December…life has not stopped. But a lot of fun things have transpired. This is all out of order…but here are some highlights.
- My bestie Ruth came into town and we wore our matching “subtle” twilight t’s as we saw the new movie finally!
- Ruth got to experience a night out in Houston for my friend Laney’s B-day…where we might or might not have had a bullet proof SUV and driver to take us downtown. (Thank you groupon)
- Ruth also got to meet the boyfriend and church friends…I love meshing groups.
- I hung out with my junior high girls. Instead of bible study, we got dressed up and went out to Cheesecake factory and did a gift exchange.
- My life became as close to a musical as possible.
- David went with me to my company Christmas dinner. Amazing food..filet, grilled shrimp, this awesome sweet bread, dessert the size of Canada….and a company gift exchange took place…some of the gifts brought were…a live fish complete with bowl and food, a lamp with a ladies leg as the stand, a space heater….it was a wide variety of stuff…I walked away with a coffee gift basket.
This week the fun continues with 2 ugly sweater parties/white elephant gift exchanges and a wedding. Yay for the holiday’s and the craziness it brings!
