My friend Chris from Chicago visited for a few days….we went down to the montrose area one day and walked through some fun vintage shops and antique places….and i took my camera…so here are some of the goofy pics he let me take of him.

Thanks to some help from my parents and my friends, I am all moved in!!! Luckily I had some great guys that carried up my furniture up three flights of stairs. I’m so happy to be all moved in!!!!
Saturday....it's kinda a big deal
So I’m moving out of my parents house on Saturday…this saturday!!!!!!! I’m so excited!!!!! I’ve signed the lease, got my keys…everything is set to go. Physically moving my stuff will not be the most fun thing in the world…but I will have some peeps helping me so that will make it more fun.
I took some pics of a family that lives on my street last weekend, and I enjoyed it. I haven’t had much experience taking family portraits…so it was good. Now tomorrow I’m going to take pics of some good family friends and their whole family. I’m really excited about this one, cause I know them all really well, so I should be able to get some fun pictures.
Also, there is now a 90% chance my friend Chris who I met in Chicago two years ago is coming into Htown to visit. So it should be a fun and eventful weekend!!!
Last weekend I saw New Moon with ruth…it was amazing….and i might or might not have gone to see it again this week. I’m just saying…i hate that I”m lumped into the twilight fans….but I am. Last weekend was way fun though getting to hang with Ruth, and she got to meet my new friends here at a church hangout we had whilst watching shes the man, and then time hangin with rachel as well, not to mention my friend melanie that I met in chicago spent the night with us randomly sat night as well. Great and refreshing weekend.
I handed in my keys to the photography gig…literally…and now I’ll start subbing 5 days a week starting monday.

So…I’m officially moving out of my parents house!!!! I’m so excited!!! That’s not to say that there were not many blessings associated with moving back home for a year…I mean, I love my parents dearly, and I got to save all my money. But its time to move forward.
I’m moving in with my friend Kim that I met at 737. There is another girl Courtney, but I have only met her once, she seems nice. So its a 3/2. I’ll share a bathroom with kim. Its a pretty spacious apt….the complex is ony a few years old, so all the appliances and stuff are still new. Its on the 3rd floor…so i’ll get some exercise…but I’m fine with that. Its more in the woodlands….so I’ll be closer to other people from church now too.
I’m back on the sub list for klein i.s.d. so i’ll sub like 3-4 days a week and work at the studio 1-2 day most likely. …thats my life.
Boot camp...aka hell on earth
So…i Joined the boot camp thing. My first day was Wednesday. We met at a football stadium and ran bleachers, did bear crawls, crab crawls, lunges, sprints….the list goes on and on. But before the workout started, I was standing around with the other people, who btw are all 30-40 something stay at home moms. They were talking before we got started and I was thinking in my head the whole time…man this conversation is fitting way to many stereotypes…they were all talking about how much ”work” they had done to their various body parts, or how much they wanted done. Really?…are we going to be that cliche? Needless to say I was standing on the outer circle not knowing how to respond to what was being said by these women…cool.
Anyways, by the end of the boot camp my legs were shaking uncontrollably….it was hilarious…I hadn’t had that happen since high school. My whole body felt like jello. So after that, the day progressed….i was feeling ok, the shaking stopped, but then I went to bed….might as well have been hit by a train, cause yesterday morning I woke up to every muscle in my body aching like crazy. I was walking humped over like a 90 year old man. So of course the smart person I am, I went to boot camp again yesterday morning….cause there’s nothing like trying to make yourself as miserable as possible. Naturally, after yesterdays additional pain…today was awesome waking up.
But even though I’m in pain….I am going to stick with the boot camp, its not hurting my foot as long as I wrap it before hand. And this morning I went to get a full body massage….Christina had magical hands….It was amazing!!!
I talked to the guy on the phone about being a recruiter…he was nice and chill…had graduated from A&M also…he laid out the facts for me and answered my questions…but I don’t think that was the job for me. So now I continue to apply for jobs…we’ll see if anything comes of that. Again…i can always sub, and there are random network type things happening as well…so who knows…i might have a job sometime in the near future….or not.
